Uses– This medicine is used in the treatment of low blood calcium levels such as bone loss, weak bones, hypoparathyroidism and latent tetany in people who do not get enough calcium from their diets and certain patients to make sure they are getting enough calcium such as pregnant women, nursing, or postmenopausal, people taking certain medicines such as phenytoin, phenobarbital, or prednisone. Calcium plays a very important role in our body. It is also used to treat symptoms caused by stomach acid such as heartburn, upset stomach, or indigestion. It is an antacid that works by lowering the amount of acid in the stomach. It is necessary for functioning of nerves, cells, muscle, and bone. If there is not enough calcium we get in the blood, then the body will take calcium from bones, and weakening bones. Having the right amount of calcium is important for building and keeping strong bones.

Side Effect:- Some common side effects may be occur such as Constipation, Nausea, vomiting, muscle pain, headache, weakness, breathing trouble, unusual tiredness and upset stomach. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
