Cefixime 50mg
Introduction: – Cefixime is a third generation cephalosporin type of antibiotic. It is effective against the anaerobic bacteria. It is working by preventing the growth of bacteria.
Use: – It is used to treat infection caused by bacteria. It is used for bacterial infections but not effective in infections caused by virus such as flu. It is used in the treatment of infection such as respiratory tract infection, tissue infection etc. For better effect it should be used with the combination of other anti biotic also.
Direction for use– Use this medicine by mouth with or without food as per doctor’s direction, usually once in a day. This medicine is directed as per your medical condition and treatment response. For best effect take this medicine at the same time every day at evenly space time. Stopping this medication before prescribed time allowing bacteria to grow even after symptoms is disappeared.
Side Effect: – Stomach pain, nausea, diarrhea, gas, headache, vomiting, nausea may occur. If any of these effects occur, inform your doctor immediately.
Clavulanic acid 31.25 mg, Dry Syrup
Introduction: – Clavulanic Acid is a B- lactamase type inhibitor. It is used in the treatment of infections caused by bacteria. It is always used in combination with other antibiotics because it does not have useful antibacterial effect when used alone. This combination increase effect of action against amoxicillin resistant bacteria that produce beta lactamase. It is used in various kinds of infections.
Direction for Use– Take this medicine with food and use plenty of fluids. Inform your doctor if you have liver problems, allergic to clavulanic acid or any other ingredients of the drug such as fever, joint pain, swelling face, breathing difficulty.
Side Effect: – Diarrhea, digestion problem, nausea, vomiting, Rash etc.
