Cefixime 200 mg + Ofloxacin 200 mg +Lactic acid bacillus

Introduction:-

Cefixime 200 mg is an antibiotic medicine used to treat many infections such as urinary infections, lung and ear infections caused by bacteria. It is known as cephalosporin drug and works by stopping the growth of bacteria. It has advantage of once daily dosing. It is used alone or with other anti biotic for better effect. This medication is not recommended for infection caused by virus (common cold, flu). It is effective against the infections caused by bacterial only.

Side Effect:-

Diarrhoea, Nausea, Vomiting, Abdominal Pain, Headache, Dizziness, Stomach pain, Gas

Ofloxacin 200 mg

Uses: –

Ofloxacin 200 mg tablet is used to treat many bacterial infections such as pneumonia, gonococcal infection, and certain types of infectious diarrhea. It belongs to a class of quinolone antibiotics. It will stop the growth of bacteria. It can treat only bacterial infection and not useful in viral infections such as common cold and flu.

Side Effect: – Upset stomach, diarrhea, headache or trouble sleeping may occur. If any of these effects persist, inform your doctor promptly.

Lactic acid bacillus

Introduction: –

It is used as probiotic beneficial bacteria in a variety of forms as tablets and capsules. It is generally used in diarrhea, including rotaviral diarrhea in kids and diarrhea caused by antibiotics. It is also used for digestion problems, anorexia, inflammatory bowel disease, prevent respiratory infections, cancer prevention and to boost the immune system.

Side Effect: – The most common reported side-effect is neonatal diarrhea, pseudomembranous and pseudomembranous colitis.
