Clindamycin phosphate 1.0%w/w +Adapalene 0.1%w/w

Clindamycin Phosphate–

This medicine is used in the treatment of acne. It can help to reduce the number of acne pimples. It is a type of antibiotic medicine which can prevent the growth of bacteria.

Wash your hands before using this medicine. Apply small amount of ointment at clean and affected area or skin; gently rub as per direction given by doctor. In the case of lotion, shake well the bottle before use. Length of treatment is depends on the infection type. It should be use twice a day or suggested by doctor. Wash your hands after application. Use regularly at the same time until prescription is finished. Do not stop applying even if symptoms disappear, it can return the infection again. Do not apply this medicine at the sensitive parts of the body as mouth, nose, eyes or private parts.

Side Effects

Mild burning, irritation, skin peeling, itching, redness, dryness or scaling may occur. This medicine can cause intestinal condition due to resistance of bacteria. Do not use any narcotic or anti diarrhea medicine because it can make situation worse.  Inform your doctor immediately, if you feel any of the given side effects such as diarrhea, stomach pain or blood in stool. Remember your doctor has prescribed this medicine because he judged that benefits of this medicine are more than the risk of side effects. Many patients are not feeling any side effects while using this medication.

Adapalene

This medicine is used in the treatment of acne. It can provide quick healing from pimples and also reduce the number of acne pimples. It is belongs to retinoid class of medicine. It can prevent the growth of cells and reduce inflammation.

Side effects

Mild burning, irritation, rash, itching, redness, dryness or scaling may occur. Inform your doctor immediately, if you feel any of the given side effects. Your doctor can decrease the strength or suggest stopping if condition worsen. Remember your doctor has prescribed this medicine because he judged that benefits of this medicine are more than the risk of side effects. Many patients are not feeling any side effects while using this medication.
