Description
Ketoconazole 2 % w/w Cream, 20 gm
Introduction;- It contains the synthetic antifungal agent and consisting of butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA), cetyl alcohol, isopropyl myristate, polysorbate 60, polysorbate 80, propylene glycol, purified water, sorbitan monostearate and stearyl alcohol. It is from the class of drug called azole antifungal and used in the treatment of skin infections such as athlete’s foot, jock itch, ringworm, and certain kinds of dandruff. It will work by stopping the growth of fungus. This medicine is also used in the treatment of a skin condition known as pityriasis (fungal infection that causes a lightening or darkening of the skin).
Side Effect: – Some common side effects are given such as Stinging, swelling, rash, breathing trouble, dizziness, irritation, or redness of the skin may occur. Consult your doctor if you observe any of the given side effects.
