Terbinafine 250 mg Tablet
Intro: – It is a prescribed antifungal antibiotic medicine. It is used in the treatment of fungus and yeast infections that can affect toenails and fingernails. It will work by stopping the growth of fungus.
It is an allyl amine oral antifungal. It has excellent activity against dermatophytes. Like griseofulvin it is a kiratophilic medication but unlike griseofulvin it is fungicidal. It is well delivered to the nail plate and persist for 6 to 9 months after treatment is ended.
Side Effect: – Some common side effects are given. Inform you doctor if you observe any of the given side effects such as Diarrhea, change of taste, depression, breathing trouble, hives, weakness, fever, swelling of face or stomach pain may occur.
